The Catalina 22 is the trailerable cruiser that introduced a generation of Americans to weekend sailing. With a swing keel that lets it launch from a ramp and a surprisingly habitable cabin for four, more than 15,000 were built. Forgiving, well-supported by an active class association, and cheap to own — it remains the benchmark trailer sailer.
